The Fire District has six frontline Type-I fire engines, or pumpers; one is housed at each of the six fire stations.

The Fire District has three frontline Type-III brush engines housed at three of the six fire stations.

The Fire District has two frontline water tenders. The water tenders are housed at Station 4 near Cielo and Station 6 in Elfin Forest but are utilized throughout the District as needed.

The Fire District has four Command vehicles, each assigned to a Chief Officer.

The District Participates in a temporary-use agreement for a Type I apparatus through the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES). This program is a statewide fire and rescue program in which Cal OES loans local fire department fire apparatus for use in their districts. The vehicles are fully equipped and maintained by the state; in return, the District agrees to staff the engine anywhere and any time, whether in state or across the nation. Cal OES provides full reimbursement for members' wages when the unit is called into service.

The reserve fleet is used when frontline rigs are out of service or when additional staffing is needed during emergencies and high fire hazard periods. The District's reserve apparatus includes two Type-I pumpers.
